At least 19 people were killed and three were injured in a car crash on Chalco, Mexico, on the highway between Mexico City and Puebla, the capital, on Saturday afternoon local time.
The accident was reported in a Mexican newspaper, for example La Jornada and the news agency AFP.
The accident occurred when a truck collided with six vehicles at a toll station. Some of the vehicles caught fire in the collision. The truck driver was one of the dead.
According to La Jornada, the truck is suspected of having a brake failure.
