Through its social networks, Atlus confirmed that Metaphor: ReFantazio It has managed to sell a million copies on its release day, thus becoming one of the company’s greatest successes. Previously, Persona 3: Reload had this record by exceeding this amount in less than a week, and before that Persona 5 Royal managed to sell 1.3 million copies in one month. To celebrate this, Shigenori Soejima, the game’s designer, shared a special illustration.

While many had doubts about the success of the game, due to the fact that it was a completely new property that was promoted mainly on Xbox, everything seems to indicate that we are facing the beginning of a new and fruitful series.
So, it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear that Studio Zero is already planning a sequel of some kind. We remind you that Metaphor: ReFantazio It is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Author’s Note:
Metaphor: ReFantazio It’s a great game. It is spectacular from start to finish. While the New Game+ is something that could have been better, this is the only complaint I have about this title. I hope this title continues to sell so that we see more similar projects in the future.
