Car brands should all take an example from Opel just after the turn of the century. Then they even came up with an OPC version of the Meriva, the most suitable mode of transport for bingo night. Now we will never accuse Mercedes of making boring models, but unfortunately they did not dare to build an AMG version of the X-class and the V-class. And that’s a shame: because the more unsuitable a car is for a lot of power, the more fun it becomes.
Fortunately, there is still a way where there is a will. The German GAD Motors took on the project and spooned AMG’s 4.0-liter V8 into the V-class. The power of the eight-cylinder is 585 hp, just like the engine generates in the G 63, for example. They keep the exterior of the Mercedes V-class with 4.0 V8 from AMG understated, just like the sound of the V8 and the interior. The goal was also not to create a monster, but a car that can drive 200 with the greatest of ease on the Autobahn. Looks like it succeeded.
