There Mercedes it is certainly one of the most anticipated teams in the second pre-season test session, which will start tomorrow at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain. There are many rumors concerning the brand new W13 made by the Brackley team. The new silver arrow did well in Spain during the first tests of the year. On the last day Hamilton and Russell had set the best times of the entire session, suggesting however that they are still far from expressing the maximum potential of the car. In addition, in recent days, many have hypothesized a revolution of the Anglo-German car, almost one version ‘B’ to be experienced just ten days before the first GP of the new year.
Waiting to understand if these rumors will be true or not, and above all to verify the actual speed of the 2022 car on the same track where the World Championship will open, Mercedes has announced the line-up for day-1 of tests. Tomorrow both drivers will take to the track – as per the tradition of the black-silver team, which rarely dedicates the whole day to just one driver – with Lewis Hamilton who will open the day in the morning. Russell will instead inherit the seat in the afternoon session. However, no further information has come from the Mercedes communication channels on the line-ups on Friday and Saturday. Both will likely be communicated the day before.
