Menarini, benefits for mothers and welfare in the new supplement
The pharmaceutical company Menarini is strengthening the welfare of its 3,100 employees through a new three-year agreement (2024-2026) signed with Filctem, Femca and Uiltec. As reported by Il Sole24Ore, the performance bonus is mainly based on profitability objectives (49%) e productivity (51%), with a gross amount revalued of 40 euros per year for each contractual year. All this translates into premiums of 1,360 euros in 2024, 1,400 euros in 2025 and 1,440 euros in 2026, totaling approximately 4,200 euros in three years.
The award is mainly linked to a new model of productivity welfare. Employees now have the opportunity to convert part of the bonus into fixed benefits, varying between 500 and 900 euros, or even the entire prize. These benefits can be used for services such as education, assistance for the elderly or non-self-sufficient, recreational activities, shopping and fuel vouchers, public transport season tickets and the category supplementary social security fund (Fonchim). The company will add a percentage of 7% (for 500 euros), 10% (for 900 euros) and 12% (for the entire premium) to these amounts. For those who choose to pay the entire premium to the Fonchim fund, the percentage will increase to 16%.
Moreover, they are expected additional benefits for mothers and caregivers, the company has included an additional quota for those who have children in nursery school and choose to fully convert the premium, and will increase the additional quota from 12 to 30%. On corporate welfare, the quota of flexible benefits has increased by 30 euros for levels A and B and 50 euros for all others. Finally, the company will support insurance coverage for non-professional accidents, worth over 40 euros for each worker. The agreement also aligns with the regulatory provisions of the chemical and pharmaceutical sector, highlighting the importance of labor relations and bringing crucial updates on issues such as health, safety, environment, training, part-time work and other relevant topics, including promotion of diversity and the fight against gender violence.
