The Duchess of Sussex will create and produce an animated series for Netflix, entertainment website reports Deadline. Meghan does this on behalf of her company Archewell Productions.
The series Pearl is about a 12-year-old girl who experiences adventures and finds inspiration from several influential women throughout history. The animated series is part of the multi-year agreement that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have concluded with the streaming service. For this they make even more series, documentaries and children’s programs.
“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on her way to discover herself as she overcomes the challenges of everyday life,” the Duchess said in a statement.
Megan Casey of Netflix added that he was pleased that the service was allowed to make the series together with Harry and Meghan’s company. An exciting story that connects fantasy and history.
