The meeting of representatives of the federal government and states to discuss combating the fires that are affecting the country was attended by six ministers and nine governors, in addition to lower-level authorities. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who traveled to Maranhão earlier this Thursday, the 19th, did not participate.
