New agreements

While waiting for the presentations of the new single-seaters, the cars also deserve a separate chapter in this pre-season period sponsor who will join various teams for the next championship. This is the case of Ferrari or Aston Martin, but these teams have also been joined more recently by McLarenwhich will begin a new partnership after more than twenty years of collaboration with another company.

Italian technical partnership

The British team has in fact officially announced the agreement reached with Alpinestarsa Treviso company founded in 1963 (curiously the same year as McLaren) and specialized in the creation of technical racing clothing, such as overalls and shoes. There technical partnershipwhich will start from this season, will thus replace the one between the Woking team and another Italian brand such as Sparco, a Turin company that in 1996 signed a technical partnership contract with McLaren until last year.

McLaren's welcome

Alpinestars will provide racing material not only to the drivers of the Formula 1 team, but also to all others involved in the categories in which McLaren is present, such as Formula and IndyCar: “With Alpinestars as our new official technical apparel partner, we are excited to bring a new look to our McLaren Racing teams for the 2024 season – he has declared Matt Dennington, Executive Director, Partnerships & Accelerator at McLaren – we are proud to equip our pilots and crew members with their advanced technical clothing.”
