Angostura, Sinaloa.- With sport being one of the main axes of attention and projection during the 2021-2024 administration, the municipal president, Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta, goes to the Costa Azul fishing camp to offer a motivating farewell to the Angostura athletes that in the next few hours They will be participating in the different disciplines of the Conade 2022 National Games.
In this edition the coastal municipality of the Evora region will have representation in three disciplinesas they are karate do, weightlifting (weightlifting) and beach volleyballbut not only that, but also several more young people go as reinforcements in indoor volleyball.
“Angosturan athletes, originally from different communities, will now be representing Sinaloa in this national fair and there are around 13 who will be rubbing shoulders with the best of the Mexican Republic.
We have great faith and confidence that they will achieve good results and will put the name of Angostura very high, because for this they have prepared themselves alongside experienced trainers such as Matías Castros, Tomás Isidro Barra and Hecmar Bojórquez”, confirms Diego Antonio Álvarez, director of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.
It should be noted that karate do athletes will also be seeking qualification for the Pan American Games.
For his part, the mayor, Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta, reaffirmed his commitment to support all branches of sport in the municipality in different ways and according to the possibilities: “I emphasize that they carry a great responsibility, that of representing the municipality and to the State, but I also tell them that because they carry that responsibility they will not fall into disfigurement, nothing to discuss with their colleagues, nor with the referees or judges, these rulings are unappealable even if we renege and get upset, that is why I invite you to play with a lot of grit but with education and civility,” he said.
Likewise, the president made it clear to them that they must learn to win and know how to lose, which is the most difficult, because to accept one must have courage.
