The National Automobile Museum of Turin also conquers the New York Times. The highly influential US newspaper celebrated the MAUTO describing it as a place “of such rich inheritances, organized around a collection of about 200 models starting in 1854, that those who visit it should receive a degree in history after having hopefully spent a few hours in here”. The exhibition center dedicated to four-wheelers located in the Piedmontese capital was visited by the journalist expert on automobile themes Stephen Williams who made a journey between Milan and Turin described in the pages of the popular US newspaper.
“Our job is to make the MAUTO a place of culture, attractive to a wide audience, not just motor enthusiasts – commented Mariella Mengozzi, director of the MAUTO – National Automobile Museum of Turin. “Now that the New York Times has also written it, we expect many readers to arrive in Turin and the museum, as an effect of the restart of travel and cultural mobility around the world. “
