With the formal start of transition process next September 1st, Mauricio Tabe, elected mayor of Miguel Hidalgo, required the outgoing government to provide all the requested information for more than a month through the Political Table installed in this demarcation to advance in the delivery-reception process, which, he said, has not happened.
“We started the political tables to receive information about the mayor’s office and we made a series of tours also to verify how the facilities were, but the truth was they gave us the information in a trickle”, he indicated.
Therefore, he said, we want all the information as of September 1 to be able to advance in the planning and budgeting process.
He held that Despite the obstacles that the City government imposed on them for the transition, his team has been working during the three months after the election in a general diagnosis.
However, he stressed, We ask that the Mayor’s Office now give us all the information and that there be no pretext, that they do not bring us back and forth.
Noted that it was an error of the local government to issue a regulation that delayed and turned the delivery of information into a concession, since it held the citizens hostage, who will be affected by the lack of adequate and timely planning.
In that sense, he called on the government of the capital to work together and include the elected mayors in the 2022 budgeting process, because today the city needs everyone to reactivate the economy, to enhance safety, including a safe return to school.
“The transition is not a photograph, it must be a space for teamwork for the good of the citizens,” he says.
Since last July 28, members of the Transition Commission appointed by the elected mayor Mauricio Tabe delivered to the mayor Miguel Hidalgo a Official letter with 226 requests for very specific information in 5 areas (Administration, Legal and Government, Urban Works and Services, Social Development and Citizen Security) that included aspects such as social programs, budget progress, pending audits, parking meter resources, patrol contracts, works in progress and construction demonstrations, among others, in order to know the state of the administration .
For this reason, with the installation of the transition tables in the municipalities the following week, the demand is reiterated that the complete information be provided and the review meetings begin with the outgoing officials, in charge of the respective areas.
“A month after the change of government, We have the challenge of concluding the planning process and getting things done and done well in Miguel Hidalgo”, He specified.
