New role for Massimo Nordio inside Volkswagen Group Italy. The current CEO will leave his position starting from 1 August, after 9 years at the helm of the Italian branch of the German group for assume that of Vice President Group Government Relations and Public Affairs for Italy. This position stems from the need to facilitate the transition to the new mobility, with Nordio representing all Volkswagen Group companies in Italy.

Volkswagen Passat says goodbye to the US market
Nordio from the Rome office, will maintain his position on the Board of Directors and will report to Wolf-Stefan Specht, Chairman of the Board of Volkswagen Group Italia. “This new function will be important for the Volkswagen Group in Italy” – said Wolf-Stefan Specht – “To be successful in the transition, a constant relationship with the institutions is an essential element, both at the Parent House level and in the individual countries.
