“I have read the filing request and it convinces me. The prosecutor has realized my correctness in the answers, considering the time elapsed and what I actually did at the time. I was not interested, if not marginally, in the subversive right, because in at that time I was mainly concerned with the phenomenon of left-wing terrorism. I think that the prosecutor has re-established the facts in their coherence and consistency “. This was told to AdnKronos by the former general of the Ros Mario Mori, commenting on the request of the prosecutor of Bologna who requested the dismissal against him of the accusation, brought by the Bolognese Court of Assizes in the sentence on Gilberto Cavallini, of false testimony and reticence for having stated, during a trial hearing, that he had never dealt with the subversive right.
General Mori: “No reticence in the testimony on the Bologna massacre”
In the request for dismissal, the prosecutors also point out that the Court of Assizes, throughout the deposition of Mori, “did not make any reference to the witness on any falsehoods or reticence found”, and also point the finger on the fact that the Court of ‘Assise, in evaluating the testimony given by Mori in Bologna, recalled only fragments of passages of the spontaneous statements made by Mori himself in Palermo and extrapolated by the Court to be reported in the sentence of 20 April 2018 (the one on the alleged State-Mafia negotiation). For Mori, “this was precisely the mistake, because she made a mistake by not reporting my statement in full, but only by clarifying its aspects”.
