The Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), today announced the signing of an agreement with the Georgian Energy Development Fund to develop a solar photovoltaic power plant at the level of service facilities in the country, with a production capacity of 100 megawatts.
This station will be developed in cooperation with the Fund, as it will be the largest of its kind in Georgia.
In the presence of Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, and Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, the CEO of “Masdar” Muhammad Jamil Al-Ramahi, CEO of the Georgian Energy Development Fund and Giorgi Chikovani signed the agreement to develop the plant in a ceremony Held at the leadership pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Giorgi Chikovani said: “In line with the government’s strategy, Georgia continues its pioneering efforts to rely on renewable energy sources.
