Governor Maru Campos has fulfilled her commitment to the community of Sisoguichi by delivering an ambulance destined for the Tarahumara Hospital, which will serve around 5 thousand patients annually treated at this center.
With an investment of more than 1 million 800 thousand pesos, this ambulance will allow a more agile and effective response to medical emergencies, reaffirming the governor’s commitment to ensuring accessible medical care throughout the region.
The delivery of this unit was motivated by the request of the Bishop of Tarahumara, Monsignor Juan Manuel González Sandoval, who during the president’s last visit expressed the need to have an adequate vehicle for the community.
This new vehicle is a 4×4 pick-up ambulance, model 2024, designed to offer a comprehensive service that includes health promotion, vaccination, care for pregnant women, pediatric consultations and emergency transfers.
The ambulance is part of a batch of 57 mobile units that the governor recently delivered in Guachochi, thus reinforcing medical care for 127 thousand inhabitants of the Sierra Tarahumara.
