LVIV, Ukraine (Reuters) – A children’s hospital in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol was destroyed by Russian air strikes, the city council said in an online post on Wednesday.
“Russian occupation forces dropped several bombs on the children’s hospital. The destruction is colossal,” the council said, adding that the number of victims was not yet known.
The information could not be immediately verified by Reuters. Russia has denied targeting civilians in its attack on Ukraine.
