The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced the return of marine transport services to their normal status, after they were temporarily suspended due to unstable weather conditions. It also announced the return of bus services across cities to their normal status.
The authority decided, the day before yesterday, to temporarily suspend bus service across cities, due to unstable weather conditions, and also confirmed the temporary suspension of Dubai Ferry routes.
Regarding the Dubai Metro, the Authority confirmed that work is currently underway to restore the metro service to its full normal state on the Red Line, noting that due to continuing efforts to remove the impacts on some metro stations due to the current circumstances, there are changes in the Metro’s transit time. Red line, which may entail an expected delay. The authority explained that the Dubai Metro operates from the Centrepoint station to the Expo 2020 station and the United Arab Emirates Exchange station, without stopping at the On Pacific, Equity, Mashreq, and Energy stations. The train will be changed upon arrival at Business Bay and Jebel Ali stations, as the Authority has provided alternative buses to move to the closed stations.
