Mario, the mustachioed plumber is a very recognizable character all over the world and has become a staple for Nintendo. We all know what he looks like, with his big mustache, blue dungarees and red hat. On the latter accessory, however, new details show that in reality his iconic hat was not always pure red.
A user on Twitter shared some jaw-dropping facts about everyone’s favorite plumber. From game to game, Mario’s cap comes in various colors, but only once did he sport a hat “Pure Red“.
Second SupperMarioBrothMario’s redest hat is found inside Super Mario 64. The Plumber’s Hat and Shirt are a shade of # FF0000 in the game, which is rated as the purest shade of red.
