Mexico.- The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard Causabonappeared in Japan to attend the state funeral of Shinzo AbeFormer Prime Minister of the Nation of the Rising Sun.
After his visit to the United States, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard went to Japan, on behalf of the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in the State funeral of Shinzo Abe.
“Arriving in Tokyo to accompany the people and government of Japan at the State Funeral of Shinzō Abe, former prime minister of that country, a friend of Mexico. Respected interlocutor, he was always attentive to the points of view of our country in the G20. Rest in peace”, he wrote on his Twitter account after landing in the Asian country.

Since last July 8, through the Foreign Ministry and the Mexican embassy in Japan, condolences have been sent to his family, friends and the Japanese people for the assassination of politician
“Our sincere condolences to his family, friends and the Japanese people for their enormous loss today. Rest in peace, ”said Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard on his Twitter account.
The chancellor explained that the embassy of Mexico in Tokyo Japan placed the Mexican flag in the middle of its pole as a sign of mourning for the murder of the Japanese politician.
“We mourn the sensitive passing of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Our condolences to his loved ones, to the Japanese people and to all the collaborators of the Japanese Embassy in Mexico”, the Mexican Ministry of Economy also stated.
