“Do I have a contract with you? Have I paid you? What do you claim? What is your problem?”, were some of the phrases that a person involved in the organization of the concert told him.
Marcela continues her writing by saying that she had put aside her activities this week in order to be available to rehearse. However, the days passed, and she did not receive any communication with indications about the show.
“I was never told what song I was going to sing, or for how long, whether at the beginning or at the end of the concert.etc.”, he said.
For this reason, the artist made the decision to publicly express her uneasiness about this problem. “It seemed disrespectful to me that no one had coordinated anything with me because there is only one day left for such an event, and weeks ago the press agent had called me for a couple of interviews and asked me to announce that I was going to be a guest,” he added.

Marcela Navarro shares a thoughtful message and demands respect
After recounting the unfortunate experience that she had to live through in the production of the show, Marcela made a confession of her experience as an emerging artist.
“As a program participant, I made my decisions thinking about the future, the bond, the friendship and the support I could receive from other artists. It is logical, you have to be a strategist to continue growing. Sadly, the emerging artist doesn’t always get the support they seek. When the contests are over, the contacts, the friends and the people who used to praise our work, forget about us”, he wrote in his publication.
“I hope that changes one day. When the invitations stop being improvised, last minute, as a filler, without a musical accompaniment, without rehearsals, and with the typical excuse that says “You are going to play alone with tracks”, as icing on the cake”, he added.
Likewise, he emphasized that, even if an artist is not as well known or his music is not as listened to, he deserves respect and consideration.
“I have always kept quiet, I will not do it this time. I had been invited to a concert tomorrow, but I am sorry to tell you that I WILL NOT BE”, reads the end of his statement.
