He manages to escape after being kidnapped by a gang of 4-5 people. It happened last November 26 in Marano (Naples). The kidnapped is a 41-year-old engineer: he was with his father, a 76-year-old businessman. When the BMW in which the two were traveling stopped in front of their house, the bandits forcibly took the engineer, and then took him away at full speed in a van. According to the story given to the carabinieri, lengineer managed to escape after a fight. In the hospital, he reported injuries that healed in 15 days during the physical confrontation with his kidnappers.
The military is now investigating the kidnapping, which however ended with the hostage freeing himself. The man had been immobilized with cable ties and taken away in a van. And he managed to escape to Castel Belvedere, 5 kilometers away. The Army soldiers carried out surveys and acquired images of the video surveillance systems. Father and son said they never received threats.
