“That many Russians use their off-work days to travel is at least worrying. And it is particularly alarming that during the period between 30 October and 7 November many of our fellow citizens will move to other regions,” he said. In the last 24 hours, 39,849 new cases of covid have been confirmed in the country. The total number of cases registered since the start of the pandemic is 8,432,546. There have been 1,163 deaths since yesterday, another peak since the start of the pandemic.
