The man who was arrested in Westminster Hall after approaching the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II and removing the cloth that covered it wanted to verify that the monarch was really dead, the judge said on Tuesday after the appearance of the detainee.
On Friday, Muhammad Khan, 28, made the long line that led to the burning chapel of the sovereign, who died on September 8 at the age of 96, who was approached by some 250,000 people to pay her a last tribute.
