When a couple decides to build a house many things need to be decided, but a couple who live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Southeast Europe, had an impasse over the view and the solution found by the husband was quite peculiar: a rotating residence.
The indecision took two years, until her husband, 72-year-old Vojin Kusic, came up with the idea. He designed and built the house as a token of love for his wife Ljubica.

According to local media, the man reported that many years ago, when they got married, they built a normal design house where the couple raised their three children. At that time the wife wanted the bedroom windows to catch the morning sun, and so it was done. The woman later complained that it was not possible to see the street from the living room and, therefore, would not know when someone was approaching their residence.
“I had to tear down the walls between the rooms and create a new room, moving all the electrical wiring. It was a lot of work, but I did what she wanted,” says Kusic.
The construction of the revolving house was carried out in six years by Mr Kusic himself. The rotation of the residence has different speeds that allow a complete turn between 22 seconds and 24 hours.
