Makro, the Spanish subsidiary of the German group Metro dedicated to distribution of the hospitality sector, presented a new Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE) for 16, among which is Murcia, of its 37 centers in Spain and which affects its six centers in the Valencian Community.
Thus, the ERTE, which will start this Friday and will conclude on February 28, will affect the establishments of Castellón, Albuixech, Vara de Quart, Finestrat, Alicant and Elche. In addition, those located in the Free Trade Zone, Badalona, Tarragona, Barberá, Murcia, Palma, Santander, Oviedo, Coruña and Valladolid, according to CC OO.
This new ERTE to which the company welcomes, which was greatly impacted by the closure and the restrictions that were imposed on the hospitality industry to stop the expansion of the coronavirus, collect reductions in working hours, the perception of functional complements and family aids depending on the day that is carried out, and the base salary is complemented up to 100%.
CC OO understands that the agreement, although it does not cover some of the issues that most concerned them, does include essential demands of the union, so they are “satisfied” with the final result.
