Al-Ahly youth coach Mahdi Ali confirmed that his team’s match against Al-Wahda, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Professional Cup, which will be held next Tuesday, is of great importance, because the outcome of the two-leg matches will determine the identity of the team qualified for the final of the competition.
Mahdi said: We want to continue the journey in the tournament, and reach the final, where we need to focus fully, and bear in mind that it is a two-half match.
Mahdi Ali expected a strong confrontation, especially since the opposing team plays in all tournaments this season, noting that he has two days to prepare for the match, hoping that everyone will be up to the responsibility.
On the position of the players and the squad, the “Al Fursan” coach said: The technical staff will determine the main list of the match, by looking at the players’ levels in training today and tomorrow, to choose the most ready to participate in the meeting.
