The new game of a famous series to come introduced from 2K Games to Summer Game Fest could be Mafia 4according to what was reported by the Czech site Vortex, which seems to have connections with some members of the team.
We take everything as a simple rumor, but Vortex has at least a connection with Warhorse, the Kingdom Come Deliverance team, and some of these developers, like the boss Daniel Vavra, were part of the 2K Czech team that had worked on the first Mafia , although that connection is rather tenuous at this point.
The prospect, however, is fascinating, and it is not even the first time that there has been talk of a possible Mafia 4, considering that just last month there was talk of a probable announcement in this regard by Take-Two, which could actually take place during the Summer Game Fest, given the presence of the publisher.
The return of one of 2K Games’ “most beloved series”?
“According to our information, a new Mafia is about to be revealed,” Vortex wrote. “We received some insider information within the team.”
“For the past few weeks, a Mafia presentation has been rumored behind the scenes in the Czech Republic. I wouldn’t put my hand on it, but if I had to choose, I’d go with Mafia. Truth be told, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Hangar 13 chose to make an announcement before the Summer Game Fest in June.”
Just last week it emerged that 2K Games could be ready to make an announcement about a game from one of its “most beloved series”, making people think of Mafia 4 or perhaps Borderlands 4, so the question remains open.
