Venezuela will send more than 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in the “next few days”, which will begin a “direct and constant support plan for the Palestinian people, through established humanitarian channels”, as announced this Sunday (15 ) the government of President Nicolás Maduro.
Through a statement released by Chancellor Yván Gil on the social network notified the sending of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
During the conversation, Maduro lamented the “terrible situation” that followed the “indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population by Israel” and reaffirmed Venezuela’s “unconditional support” for Palestine and the ANP.
Last Monday, the Venezuelan president demanded a “ceasefire” in Gaza and that “immediate peace negotiations be initiated to restore the historic rights to independence, to territory, to peace of the Palestinian people.”
