Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called the United States responsible for the escalation of tensions in Ukraine. Writes about it TASS.
According to him, the aggravation of the situation in Ukraine was the result of the failure to implement the Minsk agreements as a result of the actions of the NATO countries, incited by the United States.
The Venezuelan authorities also condemned Western sanctions against Russia, calling them illegal and violating human rights.
Earlier, Maduro expressed support for Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with Moscow’s recognition of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR). He spoke in favor of finding diplomatic ways to de-escalate in the Donbass. According to Maduro, the Russian leader is trying to protect peace in his region.
