The left back, with a more than discreet performance last season, abandons the Cartagena discipline
Antonio Luna definitely leaves FC Cartagena. The winger, who was not included in the plans of the sports commission or coach Luis Carrión for the season that starts on August 15, leaves through the team’s back door and will join the Greek league. His next destination will be Volos FC, of the Super League, Greek First Division.
He arrived last season as a powerful club bet, signing for two years. His resume foreshadowed a very different ending than he has had. He began the campaign as a starter and had a great game on matchday 1 against Almería, but soon some breaks began due to injuries that weighed him down throughout the championship.
Up to four medical mishaps suffered the left-hander, who could not have continuity. Only thirteen games, between League and Cup and only four starts, adding just 400 minutes. A really poor balance which, together with the signing of Jairo Izquierdo, has earned him the termination.
