Live with the Psol candidate, the president asked the federal deputy for peace of mind in the last debate before the 1st round
The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) advised the candidate for mayor of São Paulo Guilherme Boulos (Psol) not to enter into “rough game” of opponents during the debate on the TV Globo this Thursday (3.Oct.2024). It is the last one before the 1st round, on Sunday (Oct 6). Shortly live with the psolist, the PT member asked the federal deputy for reassurance.
“Peace in the debate today, tranquility. Don’t play the low game of an opponent who wants to attack you. Don’t respond to rudeness, every time you speak you remember that people are more emotional than reason. So, speak to the hearts of women, speak to the hearts of men, speak to the hearts of Brazilian youth so you can win the elections in São Paulo”said Lula.
During the live broadcast, which only lasted around 9 minutes, the president highlighted at least twice the importance of women’s votes for Boulos. Lula also called on activists to vote for Boulos.
“Our activism will make a difference this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And it’s important for the militancy, which is used to me asking for a vote to vote for PT’s number 13, no, now, for mayor, they have to vote for Boulos’ number 50”he stated.
According to Lula, Boulos is not the candidate of a single political party, but, according to him, of the Democrats.
“Because he is our candidate. Boulos is not the candidate of a political party, he is the candidate of the people of São Paulo, the PT and all the democrats in the country who want to see São Paulo do well”he declared.
THE live It also aimed to call supporters to participate in the event with the 2 on Avenida Paulista, on Saturday (Oct 5), in support of Boulos’ candidacy.
