Difference between candidates rose 1 percentage point; in the 2nd round, the PT would win with 52%
BTG/FSB survey released this Monday (26.Sep.2022) shows the former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) leading the voting intentions with a 10 percentage point advantage against Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The PT has 45% of voting intentions in the 1st round against 35% of the current chief executive.
In relation to the previous survey, carried out from September 16 to 18, Lula grew 1 percentage point within the margin of error. Bolsonaro, on the other hand, maintained the same percentage.
Here are the registered voting intentions for the 1st round of the Planalto presidential race:
Blanks and nulls add up to 4%. Those who do not know or have not responded are 2%.
Jose Maria Eymael (A.D), Vera Lucia (PSTU), Sofia Manzano (PCB), Leonardo Pericles (UP) and Father Kelmon (PTB) did not score in the survey.
The survey conducted 2,000 telephone interviews from September 23 to 25, 2022. It is registered with the TSE under the number BR-08123/2022. The margin of error is 2 percentage points for a 95% confidence interval. It cost R$ 128,957.83 and was paid by the BTG Pactual bank. Here’s the intact of the survey (2 MB).
2nd TURN
In the simulation of a 2nd round between Lula and Bolsonaro, the PT would win with 52% of the votes and the president would get 40%. Last week, the score was 52% to 39% for the former president.
If the dispute is between Lula and Ciro, the PT would win by 47% to 36% – in the previous survey the score was 48% for Lula against 35% for the pedetista.
In the scenario between the former president and senator Simone Tebet, Lula would win by 49% against 34%.
If Bolsonaro moves to the 2nd stage with Ciro, the PDT candidate would win the dispute by 48% to 39%. In a dispute between Bolsonaro and Tebet, the senator gets 46% and the president, 40%.
REJECTION
According to the survey, Bolsonaro leads the rejection among candidates, with 56% (was 55%). He is followed by Ciro Gomes, with a 52% rejection rate (up from 48%).
Lula has a 46% rejection rate (was 45%).
The lowest rejection rates are for Vera Lúcia, with 40% (was 34% in the last survey) and Simone Tebet, with 40% (previously it was 37%).
