PT would win by 48% to 40.4% in an eventual 2nd round, according to the survey
Survey of Paraná Pesquisas released this Tuesday (27.Sep.2022) shows the former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) with 42.7% of voting intentions in the 1st round. The president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) appears next, with 36.4%.
Lula and Bolsonaro were tied in the last 2 lifts of Paraná Research. In the last one, held from September 15 to 19, PT scored 40.1% against 36.4% for the Chief Executive.
Following Lula and Bolsonaro are:
the candidates Eymael (DC) and Sofia Manzano (PCB) did not score. Blanks and nulls add up to 4.6%; another 4.6% say they do not know or did not respond.

2nd TURN
In an eventual 2nd round between Lula and Bolsonaro, the PT would win with 48% against 40.4% for the Chief Executive. White, null or none add up to 7.9%. Those who do not know or who did not respond are 3.7%.
POWERDATA
Search PowerDate rheld from September 18 to 20, 2022 brings a different scenario, in which Lula wins with a 7 pp advantage over Bolsonaro. The PT candidate scored 44% of voting intentions, while the president received 37%.
Ciro Gomes and Simone Tebet register 7% and 4%, respectively. Felipe d’Avila and Soraya Thronicke were left with 1%. Eymael, Leo Pericles, Father Kelmon, Sofia Manzano and Will see did not have enough mentions to score.
In any 2nd round, Lula appears with an advantage of 8 percentage points about the current chief executive and candidate for reelection.
The PT has 50% of the voting intentions. Bolsonaro scores 42%. The distance is the smallest recorded by the PowerDate since March 15-17, 2021 round. At the time, Lula had 34% of the votes, against 30% for the president – a difference of 4 percentage points.
The survey was carried out by PowerDategroup company Power 360 Journalism, with its own resources. The results are published in an editorial partnership with the TV Cultura. Data were collected from September 18 to 20, 2022, through calls to cell phones and landlines. There were 3,500 interviews in 301 municipalities in the 27 units of the Federation. The margin of error is 2 percentage points. The confidence interval is 95%. The TSE registration is BR-00407/2022.
