The latest research by PoderData on voting intentions for this year’s presidential election showed that former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) widened his lead in the second round over President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) by seven percentage points. .
According to the PowerDate, Lula has an advantage of 17 percentage points over Bolsonaro, with PT accounting for 52% of voting intentions – it was 50% in the last survey. Bolsonaro already has 35% of the electorate’s preference, and in the last survey it was 40%.

This is the biggest advantage between the two in the second round since January this year, when Lula had a 22-point lead, according to Poder Data.
First round
In relation to the first round, Lula currently has 44% of the voting intentions, while Bolsonaro appears with 34%. In a comparison with the previous poll, the PT oscillated one point up, while the president, one point down.
Ciro Gomes (PDT) kept 6% of the votes, with André Janones (Avante) with 2%. Simone Tebet (MDB), Luciano Bivar (União Brasil) and José Maria Eymael (DC) had 1% each.
The survey polled 3,000 voters by phone between June 19 and 21. The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points and the survey is registered with the Electoral Court under number 07003/2022.
