President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the United States is responsible for the lack of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. He spoke about this on the air of the Russia-1 TV channel, reports TASS.

“If you mean the leadership of Ukraine, then absolutely they don’t give it. The Americans want to take down Europe in one blow, in one go, and get close to China through Russia. Naturally, having trampled Russia, ”the president shared.

Earlier, US intelligence veteran Paul Pillar said that the US is too one-sided in its approach to the situation with Ukraine and incorrectly interprets the goals of the Russian special operation. He also added that it would be reckless for Kyiv and Europe to postpone negotiations, since their outcome is not guaranteed, since Vladimir Putin will agree to negotiations only if all the goals set are met.
