Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the decision-making centers in Western capitals to be targeted. He spoke about this on Saturday, July 2.
“I want to warn the “hawks” and tell you frankly: a little less than a month ago, I ordered the units of the armed forces to target, as it is now fashionable to say, decision-making centers in your capitals, with all the ensuing consequences,” Lukashenko quotes BelTA.
According to the head of state, if NATO dares to strike, “as they plan, on Gomel in the south, on the Mozyr oil refinery, on the airport, the airfield in Luninets or Brest, the answer will be instantaneous.”
“We have an answer. And not only about what we recently talked about with the President of Russia [Владимиром Путиным] (on nuclear weapons. – Ed.). I have been preparing for this for a long time. Remember, I told you: “Polonaises” (Belarusian multiple launch rocket systems. – Ed.), rocket production and so on. You are completely under attack from these missiles,” Lukashenka said.
In addition, the president noted that Minsk does not seek to be drawn into the conflict in Ukraine and Donbass, but will reconsider its position if there is an invasion of Belarusian territory.
“I want to tell those who are worried whether Lukashenka will fight there or not: listen, we will fight, I repeat once again, only in one case: if you cross the last meter of our land and invade our land. If you kill our people, we will answer. Therefore, as president, I will say: do not touch my state, do not touch my Belarusian people, if you still have a sense of self-preservation, ”he stressed.
The West failed to unite the whole world against Belarus and Russia, Lukashenka believes.
“They need new provocations to show us, Belarusians and Russians, in a terrible way,” the head of state added.
Putin and Lukashenko held talks on June 25 in St. Petersburg. The Russian leader said that Moscow would transfer the Iskander-M complexes to Minsk and offered to retrofit the Su-25s in service with the Belarusian army. At the same time, the President of Belarus specified that Minsk does not require the transfer of nuclear weapons, but is interested in upgrading aircraft for nuclear charges.
