The Colombian Luis Sinisterra, new signing of Leeds United, will face a race against time to be recovered at the start of the Premier League.
Sinisterra suffered a muscle injury this Friday in his team’s draw (1-1) against Crystal Palace in Perth (Australia).
Leeds, who had beaten the Brisbane Roar but lost to Aston Villa in their previous two friendlies, drew this time at the Perth Optus Stadium in front of some 34,000 fans.

The Colombian winger, who arrived from Dutch Feyenoord, started for the first time with Leeds, and will try to recover before the start of the English league on August 5.
“Hopefully it’s not too much… it’s nothing serious,” Leeds manager Jesse Marsch said. “We will evaluate that and hope it’s not too bad,” he added. According to Marsch, the Colombian suffered “a small hamstring injury.”
“Any time we have a hamstring injury I am totally dissatisfied because it reflects everything we do with them physically,” added the manager.
Sinisterra, who made his professional debut at Once Caldas in 2016, was transferred to Feyenoord in 2018. The Dutch club paid two million euros for his sporting rights.
In four seasons in the Netherlands, Sinisterra made 113 appearances and scored 35 goals, and was a key player in leading his club to the Conference League final, which they lost to Roma.
