A few days ago a first teaser trailer for the series was published, as a prelude to a post on Instagram that showed a DeLorean, an iconic car associated with time travel fictions. Now, through his official Twitter account, Netflix has just released a new preview of the sixth season of Lucifer, with which they remind fans of their arrival date on the platform: September, 10th.
“There is no evil that lasts forever”, is the slogan that baptizes the image starring an imposing Tom Ellis sitting on a red-hot seat in a space surrounded by flames, along with Kevin Alejandro, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Lauren German, Rachael Harris , DB Woodside and Aimee Garcia.
What is Lucifer about?
Based on the DC Comics character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg, Lucifer follows the adventures of Morningstar (Tom Ellis), fallen angel, demon, and former King of Hell. Teaming up with a LAPD detective, the devil solves crimes and tries to outdo himself, even when outside forces try to drag him back to his old role.
How did the fifth season of Lucifer end?
Chloe’s death, and her imminent ascent to Heaven, unleashes the battle between angels and demons, while a heartbroken Lucifer travels to the celestial realm to try to save her. While various events are unleashed on Earth, both manage to return and the end came with Morning Star giving a lesson to his brother Miguel: he cuts his wings as punishment. Then Season 5 ends with everyone kneeling before the protagonist, accepting him as the new God.
What will we see in the sixth season of Lucifer?
After the closing of the fifth installment, many questions remained unresolved such as: What will happen if Chloe removes Lilith’s ring? Will Maze become Maziqueen from Hell? Will God return to the Lucifer universe? Will She finally discover the truth about Lucifer? However, Netflix has yet to release an official synopsis.
