There are only nine days left before 80,000 visitors of all ages can relive the emotions of Lucca Comics & Games: a four-day event (from 29 October to 1 November) that marks the road to the new normal. A “lighter” and more agile event, which embraces the transition to new models of cultural entertainment and which brings to its audience – in the city, online, on Rai and in Campfires – the best of the universes that are part of the event: comics, games , storytelling and contemporary mythologies, with the stands of the creative industries that represent them.
Through a press release, the organizers of Lucca Comics & Games publish the complete program regarding the area dedicated to video games. First of all, every day at the San Romano Auditorium, renamed Esport Cathedral for the 4 days of the festival, the Italian Esports Open returns.
It will start on October 29, from 1:00 pm, with the online tournament watch party Crank Arena only, where after an introductory show of the various activities in the cathedral we will witness the very important challenge on Fortnite, the most played Battle Royale ever, among some of the most important talents on the national scene.
During the second day of the fair, instead, space for Pokémon with the Pokémon Lucca Party, which from 11:00 onwards will stage a full day of themed shows in the company of the Pokémon Millennium community. from friendly tournaments to Pokémon Sword and Shield, to the final of the Community Challenge among some of the most important Italian creators, up to dedicated talks and insights, the space dedicated to the cute little monsters who this year celebrate their first 25 years will certainly not be missing.
The third day will instead be almost entirely dedicated to Riot Games and its many and important titles. from 10:00 the final of the Lucca Baron Battle, highly anticipated appointment for all fans of League of Legends. From 14:00 instead Lucca in Range, where the latest title launched by the US house, Valorant, will be the master of the finals between AR Esport and EasyTarget that will face each other on stage in a spectacular Best of 5, available live but also in live streaming.
There will also be room for Arcane, the TV series inspired by League of Legends coming to Netflix on November 7th. the series will in fact be the protagonist of an exhibition inside the former Comics Museum, where every day fans will be able to admire sketches, original sketches and artwork of the upcoming animated series. In the same area also League of Legends: Wild Rift, a young title that also brings League to mobile devices, and which will be available to visitors to the exhibition. Finally, the ‘live performance’ by Alice Pasquini, a young and highly appreciated Italian street artist, who will create her own personal version of two of the main characters of ‘Wild Rift’.
The last day of the Festival will instead be completely dedicated to mobile gaming, with the Clash Royale Lucca Showdown, which starting from 12:00 will start three different show match tournaments, the first between pro-player, the second between influencers to get to the final tournament that will see mixed teams made up of both categories.
