Mexico City (Veronica Gascon) – One in 5 employees resigns in the first six months of arriving at your job, due to the low wages or because there are no opportunities to advance, according to a manpower survey.
The human capital firm warned that while the staff turnover in an organization it is due to mismanagement in the hiring process, there are other factors that can contribute.
One of them, he said, is the stresssince 92 percent of people who have this condition are looking for a new job.
In addition, 24.3 percent of those surveyed said that the main reason for resigning from a job is linked to a salary that does not meet their needs or objectives.
“Salary is the main attraction and retention factor for all workers under the age of 65 of any gender. Even for generations such as millennials and centennials, salary is the determining factor for accepting and staying in a position or not,” explained Tania Arita, Regional Manager at Talent Solutions.
Other causes refer to discontent with the leadership; dissatisfied with the work environment and desire to find a more challenging job.
According to Manpower, Mexico registers the highest levels of turnover in Latin America, with 16.75 percent. And organizations must take into account that talent also values flexibility in schedules.
