New concept art for Lost in Random.
The developers of Lost in Random recently they have published new concept art dedicated to the game. One of the highlights of Lost in Random is in its style, which focuses on a fairytale and gothic theme.
In a recent blog post on the Zoink, the company immersed themselves in how they dealt with the mix of fairytale and darkness, as well as how they came together to work on things like character design, environmental composition, and more. One of the biggest ideals the studio wanted to realize was that the game had a handcrafted look and feel and that the team was inspired by Laika Studios and her work on films such as Coraline, Kubo and the Magic Sword and ParaNorman.
Zoink’s team delves further into how he crafted the look of his characters and the world, as well as the storyboards needed to build his narrative, showing the first glimpses of where it all began. The team also described his influences, which extended from the works of Studio Ghibli to One Piece. Below you can take a look at these images.
Lost in Random is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
