Is merit respected in the world of entertainment? “The $1 billion question. In our case yes. The funnel path of Amici dictates the competitors who count. Sometimes some guys realize that the right time hasn’t come yet. Therefore, they have to wait to emerge later”, explains Cuccarini again. The presenter and dancer then talks about the role of women, who are finally reaching top positions: I’m not for female quotas, but I’m happy that there are more and more emerging female figures, such as the premier. I like that women gain credibility and conquer top roles for ability and merit, not for concession. In politics, in companies and in entertainment”.
