As we reported some time ago, the development of the sequel to Lords of the Fallen has begun, with the launch window set for 2026 and with an exclusivity agreement signed with Epic Games for the publication of the game on PC.
According to the last one financial report shared by CI Games, the sequel to Lords of the Fallen, which has now entered the heart of development, could follow a completely different path compared to its predecessor. However, details remain fairly scarce, but the sequel promises improvements to the gameplay system, more game mode options, a “more commercial” art and narrative style, and “high production values.” Additionally, cooperative multiplayer with shared progression and a single-player campaign mode will also be included.
Further details on the sequel to Lords of the Fallen (here is the review of Hexworks’ title published last year) will be shared over the next year. Additionally, CI Games is working on others two future projectsboth currently in pre-production.
The first is Project SGW Evolvedthe next game in the series Sniper Ghost Warrior expected in 2027, while the second, tentatively called Project His a new action-RPG from Underdog Studio, which shares development systems and architecture with Lords of the Fallen and its sequel; its release is currently set for 2028.
