The general secretary of the PSRM-PSOE, José Vélez, debuts in a Cemop poll with an average score of 4
The assessment of the president of the Community and leader of the PP in the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, suffers a setback in the Cemop Winter Barometer, released this Monday. And just at the moment in which a debate has been opened about his leadership within the organization, with the mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, who is running as an alternative in a future regional congress of the popular.
Citizens give the head of the regional Executive a note of 4.6, which means that he fails for the first time since the Autumn Barometer of 2019. More than one point less with respect to the November 2020 survey, when he obtained a 5 .71.
In addition, the valuation also falls among the voters of the PP. If in May 2021, in the first barometer after the motion of censure, they gave it an average score of 7.2, in this recent survey the score is 6.5.
However, López Miras is the regional leader with the best score and the greatest degree of knowledge by the citizens of the Region of Murcia. The degree of knowledge of the president is 94.4%, four points more than in the two previous barometers.

For his part, the general secretary of the PSRM-PSOE, José Vélez, made his debut in a Cemop poll. His average grade is 4, while his degree of knowledge is 28.2%, very low despite the fact that he is a Government delegate in the Region of Murcia. Not even his voters give him a pass, since he gets an average of 4.5 among socialist sympathizers. Murcians identify much less with the regional leaders of United We Can, Vox and Citizens.
José Ángel Antelo, provincial president of Vox, is known by 23.7% of those surveyed. A percentage that doubles with respect to the previous Cemop barometers. His average grade is 3.3, which rises to 5.4 among the voters of Santiago Abascal’s party.
Javier Sánchez Serna, coordinator of Unidas Podemos, has a degree of knowledge of 22% and an average score of 4.2, being the leader with the highest rating after Fernando López Miras.
The regional coordinator of Cs, María José Ros, is the least known. She was only identified by 14.1% of those surveyed. The average note is 4, seven tenths less than in the previous barometer.
Nor does he approve of any national leader. The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has a score of 3.7, somewhat higher than in previous barometers. The degree of knowledge is 99%.
The survey was done in the middle of the PP crisis, so the image of its still president, Pablo Casado, suffered. His average grade was 3.4, down 1.2 points from the fall poll. He did not give the authors of the study time to ask who will be his successor at the head of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
The most valued state leader is Inés Arrimadas, president of Ciudadanos. Her grade is 3.8. Santiago Abascal gets a 3.4 while Minister Ione Belarra, general secretary of Podemos, gets a 3.3. Vice President Yolanda Díaz has not been included in the survey.
