The president of the Community attends the National Holiday Day parade, where he claims to “advance on a common path to reach these agreements, especially at a time of economic and social crisis that is affecting so many families”
The president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, attended the parade on the occasion of the National Holiday on Wednesday, where he appealed “to consensus, unity, agreements and dialogue in the face of confrontation to solve the problems real of the Spaniards». Thus, he claimed the need to “advance on a common path to reach these agreements, especially at a time of economic and social crisis that is affecting so many families who are having a hard time every day.”
For López Miras, October 12 “is an important day to focus on what unites us all and not on what differentiates us,” he said, referring to key issues such as “a National Water Pact to solve the water deficit that Levante has”, as well as “a Pact for Infrastructure and a Pact for regional financing so that all Spaniards receive the same and there are no first-class and second-class Spaniards”.
On this holiday, the president pointed out, “we celebrate what unites us under the symbols that represent us, such as the Spanish flag, and we claim how proud we are of our country and of the values that our Rule of Law embodies.” In this sense, he referred to “solidarity, equality, unity, freedom and coexistence in democracy.”
He also described as “very important” the representation of the Region of Murcia in the parade on the occasion of the National Holiday. Specifically, it had, among other units, the presence of the Acrobatic Skydiving Patrol (Papea) based at the Alcantarilla Air Base; the new PC-21 planes of the 792 Squadron, the Eagle Patrol and a representation of students from the General Air Academy (AGA) of San Javier; as well as a detachment of regional emergency teams.
