Loki concluded his first season with great success among Marvel Studios fans, who are looking forward to the second installment. However, there are some scenes that they did not see in any of the six episodes shown by Disney Plus.
One of these sequences was seen in the midseason preview of the series, where some images appeared that showed Loki in Asgard.
It didn’t take long for UCM followers to nickname the character as King Loki, and doubts and speculations regarding what had happened to that material began to emerge on social networks.
Thus, the show’s director, Kate Herron, spoke about the issue in an interview conducted by the TV Line portal and explained that in reality the scene belonged to the first chapter of the series and it corresponded to a memory in Asgard that would appear while Loki saw the summary of his life.
“The scenes tended to lean a bit more towards comedy and they weren’t bad. When we were putting together the edit, they were pretty close to where Loki sees Frigga dying. Obviously, we did not want to detract from that moment, because it is her mother who is dying and she is very emotional, ”Herron explained.
When will Loki season 2 be released?
So far no release date has been indicated, but the second season is already in pre-production. Kevin Feige, Marvel’s president of production, indicated in February 2021 that all the series were intended for a single season, with the exception of Loki, which could be extended.
What about the actors?
Tom Hiddleston gave clues about his continuity in the series through a video posted on the production’s official Twitter. It is not ruled out that Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Wumi Mosaku also continue, due to the importance of their characters.
What will Loki season 2 be about?
It is hoped that this second part can solve the mystery that all fans of Thor’s half brother want to know: What will happen to the ‘God of Deception’ in this new world where nobody recognizes him and Kang is the possible great villain?
