Loki Chapter 5 introduced a multitude of new variants of the ‘God of Deception’, including a classic version from the comics, a young girl, and the one who stole fans’ attention: Alligator Loki, in English, but known in Latin America as Lokidrilo or Cocodriloki.
With fans following the story week by week with Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino, What they didn’t want to see finally happened: Loki’s final chapter.
What happened in Loki chapter 5?
Loki awakens in a desolate world known as The Empty with several other variants of his and a creature named Alioth for companionship. In the meantime, Sylvie has taken Ravonna Renslayer prisoner and hopes to learn about the origins of the Agency of Temporal Variation (AVT), but above all how to save Loki. Here it is revealed that the former Mobius boss is just as dark as the variant.
As the episode progresses, Renslayer betrays Sylvie, causing the female version of Loki to reunite with the rest of the characters. Upon his arrival he enchants Alioth, so he can briefly see that there is something beyond the creature’s dark cloud.
Together with Loki, they manage to enchant the creature leaving it temporarily unprotected. The episode ends with Loki and Sylvie walking towards an imposing citadel where their questions are expected to be answered.
