Last week we told you about the case of the YouTuber Logan Paul, who spent $3.5 million on a pack of letters from Pokemon, all so that in the end they turned out to be false. In the unboxing we could see Paul extremely upset at this revelation, but some of his followers believe that it was all a planned act to attract attention.
In the most recent episode of his podcast, Impaulsive Podcast, the youtuber He stated that his reaction was completely authentic and honest, and that all of this was completely true:
“Three and a half million dollars in fake cards. I can not believe it. It was a very sad day. Very very sad. You can’t swindle someone out of millions of dollars without legal consequences.
But I saw the comments. People think I was acting. They think it was all fake. But is not. Nothing is fake, not at all. Being in that room during that night was very sad. The energy and tragedy in the room were palpable.”
The good news in all of this is that Paul has already managed to recover those $3.5 million dollars, although we don’t know if there really was any kind of legal consequence for the person who sold them to him. Hopefully next time you’ll be more careful with your money.
Publisher’s note: Whether it was false or not, this whole feat certainly attracted the attention of a lot of media out there. Previously we have seen this YouTuber do all kinds of things to get more views, but lately it seems that he is already much more discreet.
