Ciudad Juárez.- The Morena senator, Juan Carlos Loera de la Rosa, asked Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar to stop the work on the Vicente Guerrero Avenue bridge and the overpass on Ferrocarril Street in the center of the city. “I respectfully ask the mayor of the city to stop the work,” he said at a press conference this morning. The legislator pointed out that there are several laws that are not being complied with with the construction of the bridge in that area. “There are laws that are not being followed. I have requested a meeting with Ferromex; I am part of the communications commission and next week we are going to speak with the secretary because they finally approved the work. The (municipal) development plan is not being taken into account, nor INAH permits for the monuments and there are none. It is a work that aims to solve for the moment only the problems of vehicular traffic,” he added. On Thursday of last week the first stone of the construction was laid. The work is carried out with an investment of 420 million pesos and under the responsibility of Ferromex, but with the supervision of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SCT), it was reported.
