lIverpool, the team where the Colombian Luis Díaz plays, seems to have resolved the issue of Jürgen Klopp's replacement, one of the most successful coaches in the club's history. The German announced since January that this would be his last season.
Klopp arrived in the 2015-16 season, from Borussia Dortmund, and managed to give Liverpool their first title in the English league after 32 years of waiting: they had not done so since 1990 and achieved it in the 2021-22 season.

The only issue that was pending to finalize Slot's arrival at Liverpool was the Feyenoord exit clause. The English club will have to pay close to 15 million euros to release their new coach.
Slot, 45, was a professional player in clubs such as FC Zwolle, NAC Breda, Sparta Rotterdam, between 1995 and 2013. As a coach, he coached AZ Alkmaar between 2019 and 2021 and from there he moved to Feyenoord, with whom he became champion of the Netherlands League last year and the Dutch Cup this season.
